Car not driving straight?

It's an '03 honda accord v6. i bought it certified used and a few days after i bought it it started veering to the right strongly. i went back to the dealer and they gave me an alignment and switched my tires around and all that, it temporarily fixed the problem but it came back even worse. brought it back again and they said they had to reset my steering? or that they centered it or something. well, it worked but after getting my tires rotated, it came back again. i had them rotated back, and the problem stopped. then a few days ago it has returned. i commute far and the warranty is about up on my car. what could the problem possibly be? the dealer doesn't know either (yeah right) but it pulls heavily to the right. i can easily change lanes in a second without even touching the steering wheel no matter how fast i'm going. any opinions??Car not driving straight?
there are only a few things that will cause a car to pull to one side... low tire pressure, bent frame, bad tie rods, and bad wheel bearings. id say take it to another shop and get an estimate, then take that estimate to your dealer and tell them to fix it or youll sue them for breach of contract (the warranty is a contract between you and the dealer saying that the car will be fixed through the warranty period... they havent fixed it so theyre in breach of contract)Car not driving straight?
WOW!

If any of ya'll call yourselves gearheads or mechanics...

YOU SUCK!

The girl asked what is wrong with her car.

Why don't you answer that question?

I'm just a shade-tree mechanic but it sounds like the steering box on the rack %26amp; pinion bit the dust.
To the first answer: It can't be a lemon. Lemon law covers new cars...not used ones. They would have to disclose whether it was a lemon or not when they sold it to you.

What I would start by doing is getting a car fax report. Check and see if there were any accidents on the vehicle.

The dealer MAY not actually know. A lot of times with cars, when you try something and it works, there's not a lot you can do. Like you said, they rotate the tires and it solves the problem. Then it comes back a few days later.

Just so you know, laws generally state that if the problem occured during the warranty period and the dealer has had time to fix it, but could not fix it -- they're still responsible for it. They MAY be waiting their time out hoping you don't know that. But check with the laws in your area.

To me, it sounds like some sort of suspension problem that's messing up your tires. It already got the back ones messed up then you changed it to the front ones and it was fine. Then a few days later, it came back. But it's impossible to tell just from that. It's just where I would START looking.

Good luck!

Matt
I would suggest having it checked by another (independant) company. Perhaps the Automobile Association could check it out for you. Have the car checked for prior accident damage and extensive front-end bodywork repairs...
tell them to fix the car. rotating the tires is not fixing the car. tell them you want a new rim, wheel, or tire what ever the issue is. you have paper work of the problem before the warranty ran out so you should not have to pay for it. if you can not get it fixed by the 3rd time you bring it back to them, then you scream lemon law at them that they will normally hear. make sure they show you the old parts and take it some where and ask them to see if there are any new parts on your car. wish you the best of luck with this!
WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
yep get new tires go to a ndepend shop to check alignment n do if out then go rip the dealer a new one also hard acceleration or full throttle take offs will cause it to pull as y vehicle has uneven drive shaft lengths if it happens only while braking u might have a hung brake caliper
you have a lemon
