Why is it more meaningful to have something from God written in your heart...rather?

than just reading it andddddddd... what part does the mind have in this? Please separate the functions of both and yet tell me how they change lanes... Thanks..

How effective is what is written by God, in our hearts, and what is the effect of a heartfelt discussion which creates agreements with others say about promoting the very heart intent of God? Your heart and mindful thoughts appreciated...Why is it more meaningful to have something from God written in your heart...rather?
';written on the heart'; would be to be a part of who you are ... written on stone, paper, etc is an external, not part of who one truly is ....

the external doesn't have much effect on the internal... it is more how one attempts to describe what has happened on the inside

---

when it is what one is, it is lived out without even giving much thought to it ...

when it is external, one strives to achieve and never doesWhy is it more meaningful to have something from God written in your heart...rather?
Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.
My mind wants a rational step by step cause and effect chain to understand my world.

What's in my mind is from others, not from my inner self.

What's in my heart is from me, not from an external ego.

Knowing the rules is nothing compared to being the rules.

I do not steal, or kill, or hate, not because I think those things are wrong, they simply aren't part of me.

The only thing we can change in this life is our self, every other effort is a waste of time.

Sometimes this understanding doesn't take us down paths that are easily understood by the rational mind, this is why we are called intuitive.

Free your mind before it's used against you!

The Lord said He would write His laws upon our HEARTS and minds... Once someone has God's laws in their hearts, the rest is easy.

While head knowledge is good, heart knowledge makes a better and more lasting impression !
It is better to live and breath your faith then recite words because the tongue is a wicked thing indeed.

Proverbs 21:21 Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles.

Proverbs 21:28 A false witness shall perish, but the man who hears him will speak endlessly.
This tells us that because we have allowed God's Holy Spirit to live within us that God is communicating within us. There is no better felling than God living within us, because this tells us that he accepts us for our efforts and he is blessing us with his gifts...
Having memorized the verses from the Lord make them more personal. When the enemy is attacking you, the Holy Spirit will quicken them to your mind. It is seamless in how it works.

The love of God is shed abroad all over us as He cares what happens to us.

Every verse is God breathed into us. When we speak forth what His Word says to us it is like God is standing there beside us. We are hidden under His wings, we are in His presence. I have been so worried about things, but the minute the Word of God for that particular problem comes into my mind, I start in to peace of God as it drenches me in His love.

There is nothing like God's love to bring you ';His peace that passes all understanding to guard your heart, mind and spirit.';

I love in Psalm 119:44- 56

44I will keep Your law continually, forever and ever [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it].

45And I will walk at liberty and at ease, for I have sought and inquired for [and desperately required] Your precepts.

46I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings and will not be put to shame.(K)

47For I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I love.

48My hands also will I lift up [in fervent supplication] to Your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on Your statutes.

49Remember [fervently] the word and promise to Your servant, in which You have caused me to hope.

50This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction: that Your word has revived me and given me life.(L)

51The proud have had me greatly in derision, yet have I not declined in my interest in or turned aside from Your law.

52When I have [earnestly] recalled Your ordinances from of old, O Lord, I have taken comfort.

53Burning indignation, terror, and sadness seize upon me because of the wicked, who forsake Your law.

54Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55I have [earnestly] remembered Your name, O Lord, in the night, and I have observed Your law.

56This I have had [as the gift of Your grace and as my reward]: that I have kept Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].

57You are my portion, O Lord; I have promised to keep Your words.

You can feel the Lord's love in 56) hearing, receiving, loving and obeying His words.) I love that. I love God more then I could ever tell anyone.
Any time there is a personal exchange in prayer, or in actions, or in reactions, there is the ';Wow'; factor that imprints our hearts with God's hand. This is beyond expression...like seeing a beautiful sunset for what it truly is for the first time, even though you may have lived through many sunsets already.

Reading God's word or reading Godly books, publishing, watching films about faith, or listening to touching spiritual music is all made clearer and more special by the express effects of God ';making it real'; on a tangible level for each of us. We are in the physical world, after all, and God knows we need to see and feel Him in a way that is beyond ';knowing';. The human being has the capability of experiencing Faith through physical and spiritual means. It's a ';marriage'; of body and soul. Once the body is gone, then the soul is richer for having lived, for a while, as a person in the physical realm. The ';changing lanes'; you speak of is instinctive and precious.

When we are able to help another see what we already know, it is a gift to God, it is a gift to ourselves, and to the person who has accepted the Trinity. I have a good friend, who once visited a foreign country as a missionary. It was before the days of widespread cell phone use and she had stopped to use a local public telephone as she was on the road traveling. She was accompanied by another missionary, but no one knew they were missionaries by simply looking at them. They looked like tourists, I suppose. When she was done with the phone, a native struck up a conversation with her and her companion to pass the time. Within a matter of minutes, this native had accepted Christ by way of the seed planted in the conversation. It was a ';chance'; meeting. When the native turned to walk away, he stopped and looked back and stared for a moment...then said, '; I want to remember the face of the ';one' who showed me Christ';.
Hi ya Kar~n~lov~n~Danc~n~Roses~

Because.....Home is where the heart is!

The eyes see and the heart interprets the result of what you've seen !

Yet the mind many times must overrule the hearts desire because the heart does not see....it feels!

Really nice Question! Thanks!
';CrazyPirateGhost'; ...You have hit the nail on the head.
