Any tricks and tips to drive more better?

I've been learning how to drive with my sister for a few months now and there's a problem with my driving. I have very bad spatial accuracy - as in when I'm changing lanes I can't tell if the car on the other lane is too close to me or not. And i can't even tell if they're letting me change lanes by slowing down for me. I haven't even mastered parking yet. Is there any tricks you professionals use to overcome this dilmma? Thanks in advance.Any tricks and tips to drive more better?
I had the same prob too just speed up. If you cant see over the hood of you car move the seat forward. Once you start using your turing lanterns to change lanes the other driver should either speed themselves up or slow down. But be careful just because a driver is ';suppose'; to be always alert doesn't mean they are. Just take it easy be calm and you'll be having road rage just like the rest of us in no time.Any tricks and tips to drive more better?
take the bus
If you aren't comfortable in traffic spend more time practicing in an empty parking lot. You may take along some folding chairs to set up obstacles in the parking lot, to simulate other cars you need to pull in between.

Also, have your vision checked, maybe you need glasses?

The part about estimating other cars and what they will do, I would describe that problem as....

be more patient

look SEVERAL times

and then estimate based on several observed points what the next step will be if they continue the same approach.

It is sort of the same skill as fitting a line to match a few points, but hey that probably only sounds helpful if you are good at math and bad at driving, but it is a sort of applied math skill that is also used in financial markets to predict future events based on measured past indicators. You will be challenged in many areas by some need to predict, and some time in the future predicting what other drivers are doing may seem very simple compared to predicting what other investors are doing :-)
hahaha great grammar =)

all i can say is practice makes perfect, i know its not great advice, but i had a similar problem a little while ago, i just had to practice a lot and get used to what other people say about space between cars and what not.
become a police officer you will learn how to drive better.
