What are some of the tips to pass the road test?

Here's the deal... our road test examiner will only let the testers drive 25 mph max. At first I thought this would be good because I could have time to think about what is going on, and have time to think about the turns ahead. But then I started thinking further, Going 25 mph... If I get to the one (1) stop light during the test and Its yellow, it might turn red a milli-second before I go on through, do you think she would hold this against me? Also, we have to leave the dmv parking lot, onto the main road, do I pull out with my blinker on while leaving the parking lot? How many times should I look from left to right? The test consist of driving out of the dmv parking lot, driving down-town on a 2 lane highway, then making a square block (stop signs on every side) around the court house... while going only 25mph should I slow even slower to turn onto the square block, or can I stay going 25 mph... .... .... .... what mirrors do I look at when i make a left or right turn? What mirrors do I look at when making a left or right turn? Do I need to glance over my shoulder to look at my blindspots when I change lanes, even though it looks clear in my side-mirrors? What are some of the tips to pass the road test?
Ok I am A Truck Driver I have a Class A CDl with doubble and tripple and hazmat and motorcycle indorsment. this what you do



before you get in the car i want you check the car the outside make shure you have air in the tires and make shure you tail light work and when you get in the car and you but you seat belt on if he ask you what are you doing i am checking this car for my safty and for your safty checking the air and checking the light browney points



then before you start the car check your merrors from the driver side to the middle to the passager side and just glance at the drivers to the center to the passager side start the car when its a yellow light you slow down and always think before you see a traffic singal you are going to slow down to 20 mph if the speed limit is 25 then if turn to yellow you have time to slow down and rember the 3 secon ruel when you see a object that is in front of you like a sign then the car in front of you then the first car passes that sign then you count 1 2 3 that how far you should be from the first car with out tail gating if you want more tips this is my e mail pete_26_1980@yahoo.com i wish you luck and i am on the messager too look me up ok What are some of the tips to pass the road test?

when it comes to the whole stale-green-yellow light thing, you've probably learned about the ';point of no return.'; it's an area of the road that after you've passed you basically have to go through the light if it turns yellow or you'll end up in the middle of the intersection. and when they grade you, you can have a certain number of points deducted before you fail, so one traffic-light mishap won't fail you. and when you leave the parking lot, YES use your turn signal. and if you're not sure whether or not to use one, use one. look both ways twice when turning, check your rear-view when you turn. ALWAYS check your blindspot. and RELAX! you'll do fine. i turned my wheel the wrong way when uphill parking and hit a few potholes, and still managed to pass =]
A yellow light means stop unless beyond a point where you can't stop behind the stop line. Check your mirrors every 3 seconds or just keep scaning so you dont start counting in your head and forget to drive. Always Always Always check your blind spots when making a lane change. Be sure and stop with your front bumper behind the stop signs. Always signal your intensions which means you must use a blinker when leaving the lot. Relax a bit you're making yourself a nervous wreck. Good luck!!
Safe driving tips to help pass your road test:



STEERING Steer smoothly whether you are driving straight ahead, turning or backing up.



ACCELERATION Accelerate smoothly and moderately. Don't race the engine or cause it to stall.



BRAKING Bring the vehicle to a stop gently. Start braking well before your stopping position to avoid ';jerky'; stops. Make sure you stop your vehicle in the proper position of the lane.



CLUTCH/GEAR Always be sure your vehicle is in the correct gear. With either an automatic or a manual transmission, shift into the proper gear at the right time without ';grinding'; the gears.



SPEED Obey the posted speed limit, of course, but also adjust your speed properly due to weather, road, visibility and traffic conditions.



FOLLOWING DISTANCE Keep an adequate space ';cushion'; between your vehicle and those you are following. Use the ';two second rule'; described in the Driver's Manual. Be sure to increase your following distance in poor weather or visibility.



TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Know the meanings of signs, signals and pavement markings, and obey them consistently.



STOPPING POSITION If a stop is required, stop your vehicle before it reaches an intersecting street. If stop lines or crosswalks are present, stop before crossing them. If your view is blocked after stopping behind the crosswalk, move up until you can clearly see your way, then stop again if necessary.



LANE SELECTION AND POSITION Keep your vehicle in the proper traffic lane, especially when preparing to make turns. Don't allow room for another vehicle to pass you on the side that you are turning toward.



COMMUNICATION Let other drivers and pedestrians know which way you want to go. Use your directional signals or horn consistently and at the proper times.



OBSERVATION Look for and identify potential problems or hazards in the traffic around you - not just straight ahead, but behind you and on either side. Check your mirrors frequently, but be sure to look over your shoulder behind you when changing lanes or backing up.



ANTICIPATE %26amp; REACT TO OTHERS Anticipate possible driving errors by others and be ready to react safely to make up for their mistakes.
