How can you fix a wheel that's bent into the wheel well?

My little brother was driving us home on the freeway and some idiot changed lanes into ours, forcing us to swerve into the center divide curb. We hit the curb sideways and it pushed the front wheel inward and it's kinda tilted as well. Is this something a wheel alignment can fix? The car handled very wobbly after. How can you fix a wheel that's bent into the wheel well?
i own a repair shop, and id say it bent the bottom a-frame on it ,this one will have to be taken to a shop for repair, there's nothing you can do for it,it may also have bent a tie rod end also,id say the damage is going to be more than your expecting it to be on this one ,but have it checked from what you have said it sounds like it has messed a few things up in it pretty bad, good luck,i hope this help,s.How can you fix a wheel that's bent into the wheel well?
A wheel alignment may work but it sounds like there could be more wrong. I am going to take a guess that you are going to need a new rim and possibley a new tire. You might even need new ball joints, tie rod end ( depending on if it is a front wheel drive) and a CV joint. And possible more depending on how hard you hit the curb. I would definitley get it looked at by a professional to get the exact amount of damage done.
an alignment might fix it, if you are lucky. After what happened, you could have anything from a bent rim to a bent/broken axle. Best bet is to take a soon as you can to a mechanic. Don't drive the car in that condition. A bent or broken linkage is likely and you don't want the entire wheel falling off when you are driving down the highway (I've seen it happen). Good luck.
