Now lemme revise my question, and show you why I asked:
http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/dmanual/cha...
and in that website go down where it says
';Single broken line: You may pass other vehicles or change lanes if you can do so safely and not interfere with traffic.';
the picture next to it has single broken lines that are yellow.
now this also said:
';Lines separating traffic moving in opposite directions are yellow.';
now how the fu*k are you supposed to fu#*in ';PASS'; other cars on a two way road?
that's why I asked this question you fu*#in c*nts.What do they mean by passing cars?
Hey man its pretty simple you can pass if there are no lines, you can pass when there is a broken line,you can pass when you have a broken line on your side and a solid on the other, you can't pass if you have 2 solid lines.A solid line on your side means no passing.Always pass with caution.What do they mean by passing cars?
This is for when you are stuck behind a slow moving person on a two way two lane road. you can swing out into the oncoming traffic lane (after checking that no one is coming) and pass the slow person.
when only a dotted line is painted down the center of the road you may pull out and pass if conditions are safe to do so.
If there is a dotted line and a solid line beside it but the solid line is in the opposing line you may still pass if conditions are safe.
If the solid line is on your side of the dotted line then you are not allowed to pass.
If you have 2 solid lines neither side is allowed to pass. And in most cases if there are no center lines at all then no passing is allowed. Hope this helps.
