at 49 seconds in the girl changes lanes, but not the way you usually see people do it i know its a movie but she changes lanes and her car turns parralel, like during the turn the car is even the whole way its hard to explain :S like the front and back are always even during the turn how do you do thatChanging lanes parralel like this?
going at a faster speed slightly turn the wheelChanging lanes parralel like this?
That is sometimes called a drift. Very easy to do, but very dangerous if not done under the protective eye of a closed highway as used for filming movies, or a totally empty roadway. The slightest mistake like snapping the steering wheel too far or too hard in either of the 2 directional changes, or hitting a small wet, oily, or sandy spot can turn the drift into a skid, spin, or even a rollover.

That was the warning. Now the how to.

Find an empty parking lot (bigger the better and stay away from light poles) Start driving forward. Now turn to either side and give it gas. Not so much that the wheels break free. Just enough so that car doesn't want to turn . Notice how the car wants to continue straight instead of turning? That's the same use of centrifugal and centripetal forces as she is doing.

Now release the gas and the car will snap into the turn. Reverse the wheel and do it again. Do it with minimal steering wheel turning and let the engine power drift the car and it looks like the car is changing lanes without actually any steering wheel turning. If you watch the front wheels closely in the video you can see that they do turn very slightly, but it is engine power control and the laws of physics that make the car turn.

When I was a driving instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, we had a turn on our high speed course that was very gentle and long. It was called the drift corner. With a little practice, we could accelerate around the corner by holding the steering wheel very slightly into the corner and then straighten the wheels and let the engine's power keep the car turning all of the way through the turn.
