How long can I drive without a wheel alignment?

My car veers to the left a little bit when I drive. It's not a struggle to drive, but it does obviously veer to the left when I let the wheel go, to the point that if I need to change to the left lane on the freeway, I just need to let go of the wheel and watch the car slowly change lanes. I was wondering since I am a bit low on cash right now, how long can I drive without getting a wheel alignment before something starts to get damaged? Also, I hear that some wheels get more waisted than others if you don't get a wheel alignment. Which wheels should I look out for in my situation? How long can I drive without a wheel alignment?
you can let it go forever if you like to replace your front tires alot. How long can I drive without a wheel alignment?
It can drive it for as long as your tires keep thread on them. That will be fun blowing a front tire. It will continue to serve you unless a tie rod or what ever does not snap. It need to be alligned. Spend the $50.00. Hopefully nothing in the front end has worn out and now you have to replace everything in the front end. both tires can be ruined with this happening. you can have it alligned for the 50 or wait and pay some serious money later, especially if something breaks and you are involved in an accident
as you say that you are short of money i would get the front end lined up as if you do not you will also have to buy tires. so it will be cheaper for you to do it now rather than later. hopefully the front end does not need any ball joints or tie rods. any way you look at if if the front needs more than just an alignment it will be cheaper as you will not have to buy tires to
You can drive indefinately without having the wheels aligned. That's up to you. You may pay the penalty later though in premature and uneven tire wear, which could effect any or all of the tires.

A final thought - in my experience of dealing with probably more than 1,000 alignments - 9 times out of 10 it is a tire, not the alignment that is causing the pull.
cross rotate tires (front tires swapped side to side) before you do the alignment....then test drive again. if it still pulls then get an alignment done.
