i'm asking on here because i'm sure nobody wants a crazy driver on the road haha. any help would be appreciated. thanks. How do i change lanes while driving?
First, your side and rear view mirrors must be used to change lanes. Make sure that they are properly aligned to the right field of view. You rear view should show you whats going on behind your car, your side views show your back side corners (lol that sounded funny).

Any way, first you want to check the side view mirror closest to the lane you want to switch to. Make sure no one is there. If there is, you turn on your signal and check their speed to see if they will let you in. If not, then you wait for them too pass you. Then turn on your signal, and gradually change lanes making sure that you are at the same speed as everyone else and straighten out in your desired lane. It better if you practice this, than just reading directions out of a Driver's Ed manual. Practice on a deserted road. Never do this on a highway, until you have mastered changing lanes. good luck. How do i change lanes while driving?
Turn you blinker on.

Look over and at your mirror.

Turn your head.

If clear make the turn
Go to a driving school where you will be taught all the correct road maneuvers and then you will be no danger to anyone else on the road.
concentrate on your intended maneuver ie. no makeup -no phone or texting- no conversations

check, double check rear view mirrow, if blocked quick glance to be sure lane and distance is ok.

turn on turn signal at least 100 feet in advance.

recheck rear before making change. do not change if lane is blocked . wait your turn.

after change make sure turn signal is off and no longer blinking.
look in rear view mirrors first to check what is behind indecate next then proceed when it is safe be alert be aware be seen happy and safe motoring
Go get some professional driving lessons. If you do not know how to safely change lanes you are not ready to go out on the roads yet.
